Duties

Assuring quality and appropriate standard of course material and assessment.
Curriculum development, including planning, designing, and developing student and lecturer guides, formative and summative assessments as well as class material.
Timely and effective identification of at-risk students and supplying student support pertaining to module outcomes as well as liaising with other support staff.
Administrative duties associated with teaching such as tracing academic progress and student attendance.
Leadership role in the creative arts department managing staff and students at the Midrand campus while ensuring that the curriculum was run accordingly and in line with the rules of the institute.
